Freeplay Weekend is a festival of senior thesis projects featuring the Fourth Year students of the University of Minnesota/ Guthrie Theater BFA Acting program. Each student works on their own personal artistic endeavor that includes anything from performing an original play to creating a podcast/webseries to creating an EP to writing a book of poetry, it can be anything!

Usually, the students present their projects live during Freeplay weekend, but due to the ongoing pandemic, we have taken our weekend of performances and made it a website! Hence, it’s not a weekend, it’s a website! The projects will be available from 7pm on February 19th to midnight on February 21st. Feel free to enjoy these projects all weekend! No project has a scheduled time to be presented, so everything is available on demand throughout the weekend.
